Why Family Photography?
Family photo sessions contain deep, meaningful stories that will never be repeated. They can never be duplicated. Life happens so fast and we’re so busy that we forget to make time for these important things. These moments are unscripted, raw and rich with emotion. We need to slow down and make time to capture all the beauty of your growing family.
Throw away the idea that you need all matching outfits with everybody looking into the camera and smiling. We’re not doing that. You don’t have to be all dolled up with hair and makeup. You don’t have to have on your best outfit or be at your goal weight. None of that matters when you look back on your photos in 10, 20, or 50 years. Freeze it just how it is right now. Real life. Real emotions. The kids being wild with boogers running down their faces, or your husband rolling his eyes because he’d rather be watching football. You will look back and smile. I promise. All family photos are treasures and we will have so much fun capturing the moments together.
My favourite family sessions are done with everybody in their comfiest clothes. All of you laughing and goofing around. I capture the candid moments. Not a ton of “smile and say cheese”. I want you to look back on your gallery and remember exactly how you felt in that moment. How joyful everybody felt just to be together.

I went into our shoot with Meagan with a bad attitude because our last family photographer made us do a ton of awkward posing and breathing. Our experience with Meagan was 100% the opposite. We goofed around. We laughed together. The kids got to be wild. It was the best time and we can't wait to hire her again in the future.
